The
Rural hotel Cortijo Amaya, is a typical Andalusian country house,
recently restored and situated only 1 Km. from the wonderful beaches
of the Axarquía Malagueña, which has the best climate all year round.
It is between Nerja and Vélez-Málaga (8 km from Nerja and 14 km.
from Vélez-Málaga), 45 km. from Málaga. The hotel is set amongst
the typical White villages including Frigiliana, Cómpeta…, both
popular places to visit

The hotel has its own tennis court, table tennis, basketball, swimming pool, parking, green gardens and two terraces, one of them, an outdoor terrace is under a big rubber plant and the other one indoors decorated with marble and iron furniture. |

| The hotel has a large dining room consisting of two areas, separated with an open fire. The decor is in tones of spring. The walls are solid with big windows which allow in a lot of light. The predominant color is ochre. The furniture and pictures in the dining room are sevillian style, dark wood with antique features. | |

In the dining room we serve continental breakfast. Lunch and dinner consist of a typical Mediterranean diet, for example "migas" (a dish made of flour, olive oil and garlic). The upper floor has 7 double rooms decorated in dark pink with classic furniture. Previously the hotel was a family house, which has been adapted, for this reason the rooms vary in size but all are pleasant and comfortable. On the first floor are three family rooms each with a double and two single beds. On the ground floor are four double bedrooms with rustic furniture. All of the bedrooms have nice views, bathroom, air conditioning, heating, satellite T.V. and telephone. In addition, all have room service and laundry service. The hotel is situated in a tranquil area which is ideal for hiking, walking, cycling, horse riding (nearby is a riding school). -Ideal for family holidays, cots are available on request. We don't accept animals. Prices vary depending on the time of year and the length of stay. We accept credit card. |
